Hi, I had installed xp and unfotunately having dual OS with the previous installed 2k.
Out of Frequency This is my pc problem same please answar. Savresh This may also be because of faulty Video-card or video cable. Thank this really helped alot.
This information was very useful thank you. If you press ESC key within the few seconds of this setting, it will revert back to its initial resolution. But if you continued with the setting of same High resolution with High frequency, the monitor is not going to display anything because its frequency is out of the range.
This is How you can solve the problem:. Then Uninstall the display driver. Set the display settings, this should be setted based on the monitors supported value. Restart your system and install display driver or video driver and set the required settings which are supported by your monitor.
Restart your system again, it will be fixed. But it still doesn't let me change the "adapter display" settings of the second monitor to something other than x When I do, I am told "The display panel is unable to change the display settings.
You may not have appropriate administrative privileges to change these settings". As far as I'm aware, I have full administrative privileges to the PC. As soon as I try to extend the display, the VGA monitor goes black and starts flashing the same error as before. The error message Out of Range usually occurs when the video card feeds the monitor, a signal stream in excess from what the monitor can handle. I suggest you to try the steps listed below and see if it works for you:.
Boot the computer in Safe Mode , and right click on the Desktop. Select Display Properties and choose a lower resolution. If the issue persists, boot the computer again in Safe Mode , and go to Display Properties. Under Monitor tab, choose 60 Hz as the Screen Refresh rate. If all else fails, use a different monitor to set the machine back to a default resolution, then boot up with the failing monitor.
Remember, the monitor may have really died. It is a Gateway Desktop with integrated graphic Card. I ve used a different monitor, but the problem still persists. I can get into the Bios settings but I can t see any option for changing the graphic card.
Joined Jan 27, Messages , Have you tried last good known configuration? Also in the bios settings, can you choose load safe values? Yes the last G K config did nt help either. But I have nt tried to load the safe values in the bios settings. I will try that to see. Let us know if that works. I could get into the Bios Settings but couldn t see the Safe values option. Maybe u can tell me how to find it into the bios settings. But when I used a different monitor today, this error mess appeared: "Analog Input.
Cannot display this video Mode. Optimum Resolution X 60Hz". What I undestand now is its about the resolution. I really need help on how to lower the resolution in this PC that has an integrated Video card. Joined May 24, Messages 15, Rollin' Rog.
