This is a good, clean old saw set in very good working condition, designed for large hand saws mostly saws from the logging industry around the late 's period. It has the adjustable angle block for setting various degrees of tooth set on hand-saws, and the threaded adjustment for angle of set also.
All in good working condition, strong spring, good threads, the plunger is in nice shape also. It's clearly marked "APEX" in cast lettering.
